Subject of Possible Rule Making: Distributions following the member's death with no survivor beneficiary.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 41.50.050.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To clarify how any remaining contributions and prorated monthly benefit will be distributed following a member's death, if there is no ongoing survivor benefit.

Process for Developing New Rule: Agency study.
