NOTICE
Title or Subject: Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 21-0014 April 2021 Fee Schedule Effective Date Updates.
Effective Date: April 1, 2021.
Description: The health care authority (HCA) intends to submit medicaid SPA 21-0014 to update the fee schedule effective dates for several medicaid programs and services. This is a regular, budget neutral update to keep rates and billing codes in alignment with the coding and coverage changes from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the state, and other sources. These changes are routine and do not reflect significant changes to policy or payment. SPA 21-0014 addresses the fee schedule effective dates for the following (please note that other fee schedules may be identified for update subsequent to this notice):

| • | Outpatient services |
SPA 21-0014 is expected to have no effect on the annual aggregate expenditures/payments for the services listed above. These changes are routine and do not reflect significant changes to policy or payment.
HCA is in the process of developing the SPA. HCA would appreciate any input or concerns regarding this SPA.
