This memo serves as notice that the board of osteopathic medicine and surgery (board) is withdrawing the policy statement, PS20-001 Enforcement of AIDS Education and Training Rules, which was filed September 1, 2020, and published in WSR 20-18-077.

The board is withdrawing this policy because the policy was created to indicate that the board would not be enforcing rules requiring AIDS education and training for licensure, while waiting for rules to be repealed. The rules were repealed under WSR 21-02-017 on December 28, 2020, and this policy [is] no longer necessary.
