NOTICE

Subject: Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 22-0021 Telemedicine Rates.

Effective Date: July 1, 2022.

Description: The health care authority (HCA) intends to submit medicaid SPA 22-0021 to specify that audio-only telemedicine services do not receive facility fees for originating or distant sites.

SPA 22-0021 is anticipated to have no effect on the annual aggregate expenditures/reimbursement/payment for professional services.

A copy of SPA 22-0021 is available for review. HCA would appreciate any input or concerns regarding these SPAs [this SPA].
