Pursuant to RCW 39.12.015, 39.12.020, and WAC 296-127-011, on August 18, 2022, the industrial statistician determined and published on the internet an emergency correction to several prevailing wage rates. The director of labor and industries approved this emergency correction. The incorrect rates were published on August 1, 2022, and were scheduled to become effective 30 days later on August 31. With the emergency correction, the corrected rates will become effective on August 31, 2022, the original date in which the rates would have become effective.

This publication corrects a wage rate error impacting the sprinkler fitters (fire protection) trade in several central and eastern Washington counties.
