Withdrawal of Policy Statement, Policy Number SW-20-01

This memo serves as notice that the department of health (department) is withdrawing the policy statement distance supervision for associate social workers during the COVID-19 declared emergency, Policy Number SW-20-01, which was filed December 8, 2020, and published in WSR 21-01-047.

The department is withdrawing this policy statement because the limit on distance supervision the policy statement addressed was repealed by SHB 1007 (chapter 21, Laws of 2021) and subsequently removed from chapter 246-809 WAC by expedited rule making. There is no longer a need for the policy statement.
