Subject of Possible Rule Making: WAC 308-104-050 Waiver of driver education requirement—When granted.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 46.01.110 and 46.25.140.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The department received a petition for rule making. This rule should be updated to reflect the current process and consider any proposed changes to the process authorized in RCW 46.20.100 Persons under eighteen.

Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: The department will consult with the office of superintendent of public instruction on this rule making.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
