This memo serves as notice that the department of health (department) is withdrawing the policy statement for temporary worker housing (TWH) – Monitoring COVID-19 symptomatic or positive occupants by medical assistants, which was filed November 6, 2020, and published as WSR 20-23-015.

The department is withdrawing this policy statement because it was issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting declared state of emergency. The medical assistant program worked with the temporary worker housing program to issue this policy statement, which was tied to TWH emergency rule WSR 22-19-055. The emergency rule expired January 14, 2023, and thus renders this policy statement invalid after that date.
