Subject of Possible Rule Making: WAC 430-01-060 Requests for public records.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: Chapter 42.56 RCW.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The Washington state school director's association (WSSDA) is seeking to revise WAC 430-01-060 Requests for public records, in order to update based on statute and to further clarify provisions.

Process for Developing New Rule: Early solicitation of feedback and recommendations respecting new or amended rules, and consideration of the comments and recommendations in the course of drafting rules.
