Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To amend language regarding the use of the stamp/seal by an on-site designer, and to amend the section regarding direct supervision, so it is easier for the licensees to understand.

Process for Developing New Rule: Notice will be made to stakeholders and active licensees via the board of registration for professional engineers and land surveyors' (board) contact lists, posted on the board's website, and distributed through the board and board staff.
