This memo serves as notice that the department of health (department) is rescinding the policy statement Electronic Signatures for Counseling Disclosure Statements during the COVID-19 declared emergency – Policy Number BH-052620.1, which was filed July 16, 2021, and published under WSR 21-15-068.

The department is rescinding this policy statement because it was intended to provide additional flexibility to Washington residents during the COVID-19 declared emergency and the subsequent 90-day period. With the end of this period on January 29, 2023, this policy statement is obsolete.
