Title or Subject: Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 23-0034 Transportation Quality Assurance Fee Expiration Date Update.

Effective Date: July 1, 2023.

Description: The health care authority (HCA) intends to submit SPA 23-0034 in order to update the ambulance transportation quality assurance fee expiration date from June 30, 2024, to June 30, 2028.

SPA 23-0034 is expected to have no effect [on] the annual aggregate expenditures/reimbursement/payment for this program.

SPA 23-0034 is in the development process; therefore, a copy is not yet available for review. HCA would appreciate any input or concerns regarding this SPA.
