Minimum Wage Calculations for 2024

As per RCW 49.46.020, the department of labor and industries (L&I) must calculate Washington state's minimum wage based on the consumer price index for urban wage earners and clerical workers (CPI-W) index.

L&I has calculated the adjusted minimum wage rate for 2024 to $16.28 per hour, effective January 1, 2024. This is a $.54 hour increase from 2023.
