Subject of Possible Rule Making: Required minimum distributions.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 41.50.050; and the SECURE Act 2.0 from the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 (P.L. 117-328).

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Making necessary changes to implement the required minimum distribution provisions of the federal SECURE Act 2.0.

Process for Developing New Rule: Agency study.
