Policy Statement Addressing the Federal Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act in Utility Planning

On May 3, 2024, the Washington utilities and transportation commission (UTC) issued a policy statement providing its explicit preference for regulated energy companies to pursue all appropriate federal and state funding in their planning, procurement, and acquisition functions.
