NOTICE

Title or Subject: Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 24-0023.

Effective Date: October 1, 2024.

Description: The health care authority (HCA) intends to submit SPA 24-0023 in order to comply with new federal requirements under Section 1945A (g)(1)(B) of the Social Security Act that requires the state to provide assurance it will report to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services required core measures submitted by health home providers.

SPA 24-0023 is expected to have no effect on the annual aggregate payment for health home services.

SPA 24-0023 is in the development process; therefore, a copy is not yet available for review. HCA would appreciate any input or concerns regarding this SPA. To request a copy when it becomes available or submit comments, please contact the person named below by August 28, 2024. (Please note that all comments are subject to public review and disclosure, as are the names of those who comment).
