Minimum Wage Calculations for 2025

As per RCW 49.46.020, the department of labor and industries (L&I) must calculate Washington state's minimum wage based on the consumer price index for urban wage earners and clerical workers index.

L&I has calculated the adjusted minimum wage rate for 2025 to $16.66 per hour, effective January 1, 2025. This is a $.38 per hour increase from 2024.
