Title or Subject: Potential Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 24-0050 Recovery Audit Contractor.

Effective Date: On or after October 1, 2024.

Description: The health care authority (HCA) intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for medicaid recovery audit contractor (RAC) program to comply with 42 U.S.C. Sec. 1396 (a)(42)(B). Concluding the RFP, HCA may submit SPA 24-0050 in order to request a full exception to establish a medicaid RAC program.

SPA 24-0050 is under development. HCA would appreciate any input or concerns regarding this SPA. To request a copy of the SPA when it becomes available, you may contact the person named below.
