Subject of Possible Rule Making: Revising WAC 139-07-010 to clarify the background requirements for law enforcement and corrections agencies.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 43.101.080.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The rule change will add language clarifying when a background check does not meet the certification requirements of RCW 43.101.105.

Process for Developing New Rule: Intergovernmental rule making that only applies to other governmental agencies or solely impacts the Washington state criminal justice training commission's rules.
