WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY

Pursuant to RCW 34.05.314, the following is Washington State University's (university) semi-annual agenda for WAC rules under development for the period of January 1 through June 30, 2025. Additional rule-making activity not now anticipated may also be added as conditions warrant between semi-annual agendas.

1. Chapter 504-31 WAC, Conduct on campus code (title is being updated to conduct on university property), rule-making amendment to the university's rules regarding conduct on all university properties, whether on a specific campus or not. Proposal (CR-102) for permanent rules to be published on January 2, 2025. Anticipate adoption of permanent rules on March 7, 2025.

2. Chapter 504-33 WAC, Facility use rules for first amendment/free speech activities, rule-making amendment to the university's facility use rules for first amendment/free speech activities. Anticipate filing expedited rules (CR-105) on January 2, 2025. Anticipate filing permanent rule-making order (CR-103P) on March 10, 2025.

3. Chapter 504-35 WAC, Facility use rules for other than first amendment/free speech activities, rule-making amendment to the university's facility use rules for other than first amendment/free speech activities. Proposal (CR-102) for permanent rules to be published on January 2, 2025. Anticipate adoption of permanent rules on March 7, 2025.

4. Chapter 504-36 WAC, Health and safety regulations, rule-making amendment to the rules regarding the university's health and safety rules concerning the control of animals. Anticipate adoption of permanent rules on January 24, 2025.
