Policy: Employment Standards Policy ES.A.1.

Title: Minimum Wage Act Applicability.

Issued: December 19, 2024.

Description: This policy was amended to add in the Minimum Wage Act exemption for minor league baseball players, created by SB 6088 in the 2024 legislative session.

Policy: Employment Standards Policy ES.B.1.

Title: Paid Sick Leave—Frequently Asked Questions.

Issued: December 19, 2024.

Description: This policy was amended to align with paid sick leave changes created by 2024's ESSB 5793 and SB 5979 and related rule-making efforts. The policy also includes guidance on carryover of negative balances and substituting paid sick leave for other leave types.

Title: Construction Industry Paid Sick Leave Requirements.

Effective: December 19, 2024.

Description: This new policy provides guidance on paid sick leave for some construction workers and separation payment requirements created by ESSB 5111 in the 2023 legislative session and SB 5979 in the 2024 session.
