NOTICE
Title or Subject: Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 25-0011 Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)—Nursing Facility Methodology and Rate Update.
Effective Date: January 1, 2025.
Description: The health care authority (HCA) and the aging and long-term support administration (ALTSA) of the department of social and health services (DSHS) intends to submit SPA 25-0011 in order to increase assisted living facility and private duty nursing rates. SPA 25-0011 is expected to:
• Increase the assisted living facility daily rates by a weighted average of $4.10 to a projected total weighted average of $150.64, an increase of three percent.
• Increase the private duty nursing daily rate for clients in an adult family home by $62.72 to $898.95, an increase of eight percent.
• Increase the private duty nursing rate for clients not in an adult family home as follows:
