Everett Community College (college) is rescinding emergency rule making WSR 24-24-068, filed November 27, 2024, for chapter 132E-122 WAC.

The college is rescinding this emergency rule because the federal regulations which these rule changes effectuated have been vacated by a federal court. The federal government has clearly indicated it will neither be appealing the court's decision nor will they reissue these federal regulations. As such, the conditions necessitating this emergency rule making no longer exist.
