Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 34.05.464 Review of initial orders, and 46.01.110 Rule-making authority.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To clarify current agency practices regarding finalizing initial orders that did not receive a petition for review by their deadline.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
