     On page 10, beginning on line 14, strike "((fifty)) sixty" and insert "fifty"

     On page 10, beginning on line 24, strike "five thousand seven hundred sixty dollars in a year" and insert "four thousand eight hundred dollars in a year, or six thousand dollars in any year for a port district with gross operating income of twenty-five million or more in the preceding calendar year"

EFFECT: Returns to the existing $50 per day rate of compensation and the annual ceiling on per day compensation for most port districts of $4800.  Increases the annual ceiling on per day compensation for port districts with $25 million or more in gross operating income during the previous calendar year from $5800 to $6000, or from 118 days worth of maximum per day compensation to 120 days worth of maximum compensation.
