     On page 15, after line 9 insert:

     "(3) Within the total appropriation provided in this section, the department shall conduct a study regarding the revenue impacts of implementing HB 2187 (nonprofit organizations tax exemptions).  The department shall provide a brief report of the study's conclusions to the appropriate commmittees of the legislature by December 1, 1991."

EFFECT:   Requires the Department of Revenue to study nonprofit organization tax exemptions.
