By Representatives Cantwell, Hargrove, Sheldon, Forner and Silver

On page 9 of the amendment, after line 4, insert:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 5. A new section is added to chapter 43.160 RCW to read as follows:

(1) For the 1991-93 biennium, half of all funds appropriated to the department for purposes of this chapter shall be used for section 4 of this act.

(2) This section shall expire on July 1, 1993."

Renumber remaining sections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

Effect: Requires that 50% of all appropriations to CERB for the 91-93 biennium be for the new account for timber-dependent communities.
