     On page 3, line 19 after "boundaries;" insert:

     "(4)  Research and education on natural resources and their social and economic implications, and on alternative economic and social bases for sustainable, healthy, resource-based communities;"

     Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:  Requires the Olympic Natural Resources Center to include research and education programs on natural resources and their social and economic implications, and on alternative economic and social bases for resource-based communities.
