     On page 4, line 2, after "received." insert:

     "(3)  Eligible applicants for aid to families with dependent children with a residency of fewer than six months shall receive a grant equal to the lesser of the amount provided in the state of previous residence or Washington state.  If the grant is based on the grant level in another state, it shall remain in effect for six months, after which it shall increase to the amount provided in Washington state."
