On page 4, after line 14 add the following:

"Sec. 4. RCW 9.68.100 and 1969 ex.s. c 256 ' 18 are each amended to read as follows:

(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, nothing in RCW 9.68.050 through 9.68.120 shall apply to the circulation of any such material by any recognized historical society or museum, the state law library, any county law library, the state library, the public library, any library of any college or university, or to any archive or library under the supervision and control of the state, county, municipality, or other political subdivision.

(2) This section does not apply to erotic sound recordings."

On page 1, line 2 of the title strike "and 9.68.090" and insert "9.68.090, and 9.68.100"

EFFECT: Makes libraries, museums, historical societies and archives subject to the prohibition against disseminating erotic sound recordings to minor. Does not affect the exemption these entities have with respect to other kinds of erotic materials.
