     On page 2, strike line 30, and insert "or incentives. Incentives, for purpose of awarding supplementary salaries and benefits under this section, shall be defined as serving to encourage, enhance or improve the performance of either an individual or group of certificated instructional staff.  School districts shall maintain records regarding additional time, additional responsibility or incentives as authorized in this section.  Supplemental"

EFFECT:  Eliminates cost-of-living as a condition for supplemental salaries and clarifies the meaning of "incentive" consistent with auditor and attorney general recommendations.
