     On page 5, line 16, strike "returns to the employ of" and insert "applies for reemployment with"

EFFECT:  Makes the bill conform to federal law, which states that, to qualify for military service credit, the employee must simply apply for reemployment within 90 days of honorable discharge from the military.  The bill currently requires the employee to actually be reemployed at the end of the 90 days.
