      On page 2, line 2, after "chapter." insert;

      "The department of health shall prohibit the installation of hazardous material transmission systems which may adversely affect water systems dependant upon federally-designated sole-source aquifers."

EFFECT:  The amendment would require the department of health to protect sole-source aquifers.
