     On page 33, after line 4 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

     "NEW SECTION. Sec. 23.  A new section is added to chapter 66.28 RCW to read as follows:

     Establishments that are licensed to sell liquor for consumption on the premises shall conspicuously post a sign that describes the potential health and reproductive hazards associated with the consumption of alcohol.  If the establishment is a hotel or restaurant with a cocktail lounge, the sign shall be posted inside the cocktail lounge.  The board shall establish by rule the language and size of print required on the signs."

     Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct internal references.

     On page 34, line 10 of the title amendment, after "66.08 RCW;" insert "adding a new section to chapter 66.28 RCW;"

EFFECT:  Limits the warning requirement to one sign per establishment.  Requires that hotels and restaurants with cocktail lounges post the sign inside the cocktail lounge.  Provides that the board must establish the language required on the signs and allows for a gender neutral warning.
