     On page 13, on line 10 after "support." insert "The maximum amount of child support the court may award to pay for the cost of tuition is the amount of tuition set for students who are residents of the state of Washington who attend a state-funded four-year university."

EFFECT:  The court may not order a parent to pay for post-secondary education tuition that exceeds the amount of tuition that an in-state resident would have to pay to attend a four-year in state university. This provision is identical to the provision that passed in 5120.
