Background: It is the current practice of the Washington State Liquor Control Board to post notice of applications for new liquor licenses and modifications of class of license at the location where business will be conducted. The board does not post reconsiderations of applications denied by the board nor applications for renewal of licenses.
Summary of Bill: The Liquor Control Board is required by statute to continue its current practice of posting notice of applications for liquor licenses. The board is also required to post applications for reconsideration when the board's original denial of a license was based on public opposition.

Effective Date: Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
