Background: While a new resident of the state has 30 days in which to license his vehicle, he must obtain his driver's license immediately.
"Resident" is defined in the Washington Administrative Code (WAC).
Summary of Bill: A new resident of Washington must obtain a driver's license from the Department of Licensing within the first 30 days of his residency.
The Washington Administrative Code (WAC) definition of "resident" is included in statute.

Effective Date: Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
