Brief Description:  Providing for a reduction in automobile insurance and the disbursement of information on the effects of alcohol and drugs on driving.

Background:  Public high schools offer traffic safety education courses and driver instruction courses.

 

Summary of Bill:  The superintendent of public instruction is required to include in traffic safety education courses and driver instruction courses, information concerning the effects of alcohol and drugs on motor vehicle operators and the consequences of operating motor vehicles under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
