Majority Report: Do pass.
Signed by Senators Nelson, Chairman; Thorsness, Vice Chairman; Erwin, Hayner, M. Kreidler, Madsen, Newhouse, Rasmussen, and A. Smith.

Hearing Dates: February 25, 1992
BACKGROUND:
In the 1985 first extraordinary session, legislation was enacted amending a section of the state's unemployment compensation fund law. That enactment contained an internal reference to "this 1985 act." In 1991, the reference to "this 1985 act" was changed to citations to specific codified parts of a 1985 regular session enactment. Since the reference should have been to legislation in the special session, those statutory citations are incorrect.
SUMMARY:
Statutory references are corrected in a section of the unemployment compensation fund law.
