BACKGROUND:

Fisheries patrol officers may enforce rules that govern the recreational food fish fisheries by utilizing officers who are not wearing official uniforms or by utilizing unmarked patrol boats.

There have been complaints regarding unprofessional conduct by Fisheries patrol officers.

SUMMARY:

Fisheries patrol officers shall wear official uniforms and utilize marked patrol boats when enforcing rules that apply to recreational fisheries.
