BACKGROUND:

Current law authorizes architects, engineers, and health care professionals to render professional services through a professional service corporation.

It is recommended that psychologists and physicians also be authorized to render professional services through a professional service corporation.

SUMMARY:

Licensed psychologists and licensed physicians are authorized to own stock in and render their individual professional services through one professional service corporation.
