BACKGROUND:
Hydraulic project permits are issued without fee by the Department of Fisheries or the Department of Wildlife.
There is concern that hydraulic permit program costs could be recaptured by charging for hydraulic permits.
SUMMARY:
Hydraulic permit applications shall be accompanied by a nonrefundable fee of $1000 for commercial activity requiring Corps of Engineers permits, $650 for other commercial activity, $50 for noncommercial activity, and $25 for mineral prospecting. Fees will be adjusted every two years to reflect the implicit price deflator.
