                              SYNOPSIS AS ENACTED

Brief Description:  Creating Washington national guard day.

BACKGROUND:

Currently there is no day that honors the thousands of dedicated men and women of the Washington Army and Air National Guard who voluntarily serve the state and nation in peace and war.

SUMMARY:

January 26 of each year is designated as Washington Army and Air National Guard Day.  Washington Army and Air National Guard Day is not to be considered a legal holiday for any purpose.
