     AN ACT Relating to special educational services demonstration projects; creating a new section; and making an appropriation.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

     NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1.      It is the intent of the legislature to establish special educational services demonstration projects.  Substitute House Bill No. 1329 authorizes such projects, provides for in-service training and project evaluation, and creates a selection advisory committee.

 

     NEW SECTION.  Sec. 2.      The sum of one million seven hundred thousand dollars, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 1993, from the general fund to the superintendent of public instruction for the purposes of Substitute House Bill No. 1329.
