     AN ACT Relating to special educational services demonstration projects; creating a new section; and making an appropriation.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.      It is the intent of the legislature to establish special educational services demonstration projects.  House Bill No. ...... or Senate Bill No. ...... (Z-0796/91 or Z-0797/91) authorizes such projects, provides for in-service training, provides for technical assistance in the development and evaluation of the projects, authorizes awarding contracts for the projects, and creates an oversight board.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.      The sum of .......... dollars, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 1993, from the general fund to the project oversight board for the purposes of House Bill No. ..... or Senate Bill No. ...... (Z-0796/91 or Z-0797/91).
