     AN ACT Relating to unfair or deceptive practices; and adding a new section to chapter 59.20 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 59.20 RCW to read as follows:

     This chapter is in the public interest and a violation of this chapter constitutes an unfair or deceptive practice and is a per se violation of the consumer protection act, chapter 19.86 RCW.
