     AN ACT Relating to child care; and making an appropriation.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.      The sum of one million dollars, or as much there of as may be necessary, is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 1993, from the general fund to the department of social and health services, for the purposes of funding the child care coordinating committee who provides grants-in-aid to state employees and state agencies for child care demonstration projects benefiting state employees covered under chapter 41.06 or 28B.16 RCW.
