     AN ACT Relating to unprofessional conduct of dentists providing removable dental prosthesis services; and adding a new section to chapter 18.32 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 18.32 RCW to read as follows:

     The board shall establish by rule an enumeration of the rights and responsibilities of patients and dentists in the provision of denture services.  The rules shall include appropriate disclosure to prospective purchasers of pricing information, fabrication materials, and conditions for return of removable dental prostheses, in addition to other matters deemed appropriate by the board.  A violation of these rules by a dentist shall constitute unprofessional conduct under this chapter and under the uniform disciplinary act, chapter 18.130 RCW.
