AN ACT Relating to the teachers' in-service training act; and making an appropriation.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. In recognition of the requirement that certificated instructional staff earn one hundred fifty hours of continuing education credit every five years, the sum of one million dollars, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 1993, from the general fund to the superintendent of public instruction to fund the in-service training act in RCW 28A.415.030 through 28A.415.050.
