     AN ACT Relating to the conveyance of real property; and adding a new section to chapter 64.04 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 64.04 RCW to read as follows:

     Any party, including but not limited to the sellers, buyers, real estate agents, attorneys, or lenders, to a real estate transaction who has any financial or ownership interest in the title company being utilized in the transaction must disclose in a separate, distinct paragraph within any real estate contract their interest in the title company.
